The streaming era has reshaped how films are made, discovered, and debated. Among the more recent phenomena is the rise of what I’ll call “Khaanflix movies”: low-budget, virally promoted films that blend genre pastiche, cultural signifiers, and aggressive online marketing to punch far above their production weight.
